In 2014 she exhibited her artwork at the Musgrove Gallery in Taunton Hospital, Boston Tea Party, The South West Academy Open Exhibition and Torbay Hospital. In 2015 she exhibited her artwork at The Glorious Arthouse and The Real Food Store in Exeter as well as in Cockington Court in Cockington.

Nina says:

“I work with collage because it gives me greater freedom than other techniques. I like to use marker pens, acrylic paints, photographs and all sorts of less conventional materials like old fabrics and papers.

I begin a piece by picking up the right background and images for the objects I want to use in my artwork.

Working in this manner brings great satisfaction and a sense of excitement. Collage gives me freedom to move things around until it feels complete, and the composition and colours start working together. It is a very enjoyable and absorbing process. I know a piece is complete when all the elements begin to blend together, and start to tell a story.

When people see my work, I'd like them to make up their own interpretations. It’s always very interesting for me to see how my work is perceived, and also helps me develop my future practice.”
